I used a mini-drawing board to draw a pattern of eyes. The eyes are the element I use on the front page of the book, which means that I have to look at the problem in all directions.
The painting and itself in the mirror.
This painting has a deeper meaning, quoting Nietzsche’s Jenseits von Gut und Böse(Beyond Good and Evil),1886.He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee.Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
